I am trying to ascertain how many diocese and archdiocese have a history of using their Cathedral grounds as burial sites for their bishops. I’m not referring to crypts inside the Cathedral’s but, rather, property on the Cathedral grounds used for burial sites.

    Thank you for your assistance.

We do not use any grounds at our cathedral for burial of bishops. We in the pasted 15 years have developed a crypt in one of our cemeteries of Catholic Cemeteries Association.

    Mr. Eib:

We have a Bishop’s Cemetery on the Cathedral property immediately adjacent to the cathedral.

    Thank you
